Location
The rural parish of Huntingfield lies 4 miles west of Halesworth on the undulations of the Blyth valley. It has irregular boundaries with the villages of Cookley, Heveningham, Walpole, Linstead and Cratfield.
The village is 12 miles from the seaside town of Southwold and 30 miles from Ipswich. It covers a large area that is sparsely populated, mainly agricultural and dotted with farmhouses and individual dwellings. Most people live in the village of Huntingfield itself, centred around the pub and church.
The Village Sign
Huntingfield's distinctive village sign was designed by artist and local resident, David Gentleman in 2005. It stands pride of place on the village green. Information about David and his work can be found here
